Overview

Ghent offers a wide range of hospitality providers, from higher-end hotels to more budget-friendly stays. As July is high season in the city, we recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible.

Thanks to its compact layout, the city is easy to navigate. When choosing where to stay, check whether your accommodation is within walking distance of the conference venue (please note that the venue is set on a gentle rise) or conveniently reachable by tram, bus, or taxi.

Please note that a city-tax applies (campsite or hostel: €2.20 per night per person; hotel or B&B: €4.40 per night per person; holiday home: €7.40 per night per person). Certified youth accommodations do not apply a city-tax. Please double-check before finalising your reservation whether this is included in the quoted rate.

  • Special conference rates are subject to room availability at the time of booking and may be valid only until a specified cut-off date, as indicated in the guideline below.
  • Participants are responsible for contacting the accommodation and making their own reservations. The EASAA 2026 Organising Committee cannot be held responsible by the participants for their reservations, including availability, damages, costs, and losses.
